After the plans have been approved, field inspections are performed during the actual construction to ensure compliance with the approved construction documents. The inspectors are state-licensed and certified by various code authorities and must participate in continuing education classes to stay up-to-date with the ever-changing construction industry.

The City of Tomball Building Office is open between 7:45 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:45 a.m. through 4 p.m. on Fridays.
As of October 1, 2018, inspections will no longer be accepted by phone. Please use the link below to submit all inspection requests online. All inspections must be requested no later than 3 p.m. to be scheduled for the next business day.
