The Support Services Division of the Tomball Police Department is comprised of the following: Dispatch, Jail, Training, and Accreditation. The Support Services Division is overseen and commanded by Captain Brandon Patin.

Captain Patin began his career with the Tomball Police Department, as a Patrol Officer, in August 2011. He has worked on various assignments in the Patrol Division, including SWAT, Accident Investigator, and K-9 Unit. Captain Patin advanced through the ranks of Corporal, Sergeant, and Lieutenant until promotion to Captain in July of 2021.  He has proudly served as the Patrol Operation Commander for the Tomball Police Department from 2021-2023.

Prior to serving with the Tomball Police Department, Captain Patin was a member of the Harris County Constable Precinct One Department, where he worked in numerous positions such as Mental Health Division, Toll Road Division, Bike Patrol Division, and Contract Patrol. Additionally, he also served over five years in the United States Army where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant E-6. Captain Patin was also part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, including the race to Baghdad, as well as OIF 1, OIF 2, and OIF 3.

Captain Patin holds a Master Peace Officer Certification, Basic Instructor Proficiency Certification, and Firearms Instructor Certification.  Additionally, he has earned certifications in the following areas as well: Glock Advanced Armorer, Remington 870 Armorer, AR-15 Armorer, and Swift Water Rescue.  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University-Commerce.   

Captain Patin has been awarded the Law Enforcement Command Officer Professional (2025/LECOP #1350), from the Texas Police Chiefs Association.
