Tomball Kids Club: Superhero Day in June

The City of Tomball jumped into the beginning of summer with the first Tomball Kids Club of the season on Thursday, June 13, at the Tomball Depot Plaza. This month’s program, themed “Superhero Day,” invited children to enjoy an action-packed morning of hands-on activities and community engagement.

The event featured a live demonstration by Icon Martial Arts, where young participants learned a few basic martial arts moves and practiced focus and discipline in a fun environment. Adding to the excitement, real-life Tomball heroes from City departments arrived in service vehicles, offering the children a close-up look at the equipment and personnel that help keep Tomball safe and running smoothly.

Tomball Fire Rescue brought their ladder truck, Tomball Police Department displayed both a CSI van and patrol vehicle, and the Tomball Public Works team impressed the kids with an up-close look at an excavator and street sweeper. These exhibits allowed children to learn more about the vital work performed by City staff while having the opportunity to explore the vehicles firsthand.

Angel Bouncers also donated an inflatable slide that kept everyone active and entertained throughout the event.

To round out the morning, families enjoyed free lunch generously provided by Tomball Texas Roadhouse!

Tomball Kids Club: LEGO Race Day in July

The City of Tomball continued our Tomball Kids Club 2025 series on Friday, July 11, at the Tomball Community Center with an exciting LEGO Race Day! This month's event encouraged participating children to be creative and work as teams to design and race LEGO vehicles in a friendly competition where the vehicles were judged on the distance they traveled.

The races were filled with excitement, cheers, and lots of LEGO-powered fun. After the action, everyone refueled with pizza generously provided by Tomball Costco!
