Join us in celebrating the 74th Annual visit of the Sam Houston Trail Riders as we give them a warm Tomball welcome during their traditional ride through town on Tuesday, Feb. 24, from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Tomball Depot Plaza (201 S. Elm St.).
This long-standing community tradition will feature music, line dancing, photo opportunities, complimentary refreshments, and fun freebies for the kiddos while supplies last. Dusty Trails (Rusty Rails’ cousin) and K-Star Country 99.7 FM on-air personality Lisa Christi will also be joining the festivities. Admission and parking are free.

Mark your calendars for the Choo-Choo Chow Down on Saturday, Mar. 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Tomball Depot Plaza (201 S. Elm St.)!
Explore a world of flavors as food trucks from near and far serve up a variety of cuisines. Live music kicks off at noon, adding to the festive atmosphere of food, fun, and entertainment in the heart of Tomball.

Come and enjoy the family-friendly ambience – Gemütlichkeit – of this unique music/street festival from Friday, Mar. 27 to Sunday, Mar. 29 with three stages of live music and an open-air market along with antique shops in the old town area. Saturday begins with the parade at 11:00 a.m., followed by our famous “tapping of the keg” and Willkommen ceremony for German exchange students and their Tomball host families, and official opening ceremonies for the festival.
Admission and parking are free, and a free shuttle will run from the East parking lot of HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball during festival hours on Saturday and Sunday. While there is street parking available around the festival, the shuttle is a convenient option for those looking to avoid the crowd.

Come join the festivities at the 14th annual Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival, celebrating the delectable crawfish season with a day full of great food, live music beginning at noon, local vendors, and more! Returning to the Tomball Depot Plaza on Saturday, Apr. 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., this event has become a cornerstone of the city, drawing in thousands of crawfish and music enthusiasts from across southeast Texas.
Indulge in spicy boiled crawfish and other Cajun delights, alongside a diverse selection of festival foods and beverages. Explore vendor stalls offering a variety of merchandise, and don't miss the "Cajun Kids Zone" for fun tailored for the little ones. Check here for more details closer to the event.
Join us for our annual July 4th Celebration & Street Fest to beat the heat and stay cool on Business Highway 249 just north of FM 2920 in Tomball. This celebration features live music, food, local vendors, and one of the biggest fireworks shows in Houston. It'll be a patriotic birthday celebration in Tomball as the City stages the biggest Independence Day event in northwest Harris County. Free admission and parking.
Business Highway 249 north of FM 2920 (behind Kroger) will shut down for our annual celebration as the street fills with music, food, vendors, a cool zone, and a kids' zone starting at 6:00 p.m. We will recognize veterans and active-duty military with a special Armed Forces medley tribute and sing-along to patriotic tunes at 7:00 p.m. followed by live music at 7:30 p.m. The evening concludes with a giant aerial fireworks display starting around 9:20 p.m.
There will be food vendors to satisfy your taste buds, craft vendors to find unique gifts and custom items, and water inflatables along with a cool zone to beat the heat.
Coolers are allowed, but no outside alcohol or glass containers may be brought into the festival area.
Parking is available at any parking lot in the "Four Corners" area of Tomball at the intersection of Business Highway 249 and FM 2920. This includes Kroger, Lowe's, Target, Academy, Kohl's, or H-E-B. There is limited handicapped parking at the far north end of Business 249 behind the stage. Enter the limited parking area by heading north on Hicks St.
The Tomball Fire Department will be monitoring all weather conditions closely and will keep the public updated regarding the status of the fireworks show.

Get ready to groove at GroovFest '26, Tomball’s iconic celebration of retro fun and nostalgia! Join us on Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Tomball Depot Plaza for a day packed with music, entertainment, and good vibes for all ages.
Groove to live music performances that’ll have you dancing all day and snap unforgettable photos with vibrant vintage vehicles and interactive photo booths. Kids will love the family-friendly activities, including face painting, a bubble station, stilt walkers, and a dedicated play zone. Explore a variety of local vendors offering unique crafts, products, and delicious festival fare.

Grab the family, put on your Halloween costumes, and join us for a Spooktacular 2nd Saturday on Oct. 10 at the Tomball Depot Plaza! We’ve got a fun-filled evening planned with festive games, bounce houses, face painting, crafts, local vendors, and spooky surprises for everyone.
The festivities kick off at 4:00 p.m., but when dusk falls at about 7:00 p.m., we’ll gather at the Depot for a special screening of "Wicked".

Get ready for a magical evening at the City of Tomball’s annual Deck the Depot Tree Lighting on Dec. 5, starting at 4:00 p.m.! Join Santa and his merry crew for a festive celebration full of holiday cheer. Later in the evening, we'll gather around as Mayor Lori Klein Quinn lights up the Christmas tree, officially kicking off the holiday season in Tomball. Plus, don’t miss our first “snow” of the season!

Join us for the 18th Annual Tomball German Christmas Market on Dec. 11, 12, & 13! This festive event offers a wonderful variety of vendors, contests, and entertainment to bring fun for the whole family!
