The City of Tomball Capital Improvement Program (CIP) helps improve the quality of life for residents and reach the community's long-term vision and goals. The CIP is an on-going multi-year plan of major, non-routine expenditures for new construction and improvements to existing buildings and facilities. CIP projects usually impact the community on the whole and require the coordination of multiple City departments and outside agencies. Long term CIP projects may include:
- Drainage & Detention
- Public Facilities
- Parks & Trails
- Streets & Sidewalks
- Water and Wastewater Infrastructure
The CIP Division in Public Works and the Finance Department manage the development of the annual CIP and oversees the implementation of ongoing and new projects.
