Bunny Run is a 5K run and 1 mile family Bunny Walk throughout old downtown Tomball. The run starts promptly at 8:00 a.m. with the Bunny Walk stepping off around 9:00 a.m. from the historic depot at 201 South Elm Street. There is nearby free parking throughout the downtown area
There will be free fruit and water for participants, professionals to assist with stretching and a Zumba warm-up from the Tomball Community Center, and more. There will even be a competitive mascot dash featuring the Easter Bunny and Tomball’s own Rusty Rails along with his mascot friends.

Again this year will be the “Blinged-out Bunny Ears” contest. Prizes will be awarded to the runners sporting the best set of bunny ears atop their head . . . don’t forget the tu-tus and other apparel. And, a special award will be given to the school with the most participants. Registration includes an event t-shirt and goodie bag, and there’s a special commemorative keepsake for kids registered for the walk or run.

Register online at www.racesonline.com or in person at Tomball City Hall—401 Market Street, in Tomball. Registration fee for the 5K run, if made on or before March 25, 2016 is $20.00 per person. After March 25th the fee is $25.00 per person. Fee for the 1-mile Bunny Walk – ages 11 and above, is $15 per person if made on or before March 25th. The cost for Bunny Walk is $20.00 if made after March 25th. Walk cost for ages 10 and under is $10.00 before March 25th or $15.00 after. Run-day registration will be available the morning of the event between 7 and 7:30 a.m. at the event site.

Online registration closes on April 5, 2016. Mail-in registrations must be postmarked by March 28th, 2016.Groups of five or more are eligible for a 20% discount when registering together at City Hall by the end of business on March 25th, 2016. The group discount is not available at racesonline.com.

Event sponsors include H-E-B, Angel Bouncers, Burke’s Carpet Cleaning, Tomball Ford, Tomball Dodge, The Tomball/Magnolia Tribune, Woodforest National Bank, First Community Credit Union, Tomball Smiles Dentistry, and State Farm – Caley Baillio.
